Critical Minerals Traceability

Critical-mineral supply chains cross jurisdictions, processors, traders, manufacturers, and end markets, making provenance increasingly important to commercial confidence and responsible sourcing.

Project premise

This project investigates how traceability can be strengthened from extraction through processing and manufacturing without creating systems that are too costly or complex to operate. It examines data capture, chain-of-custody logic, verification points, and the practical incentives required for participants to maintain trusted records.

Eolais incubation role

Eolais uses research and stakeholder analysis to develop a pragmatic provenance framework, then tests where digital tools add value and where governance or operating discipline matter more. The model helps partners evaluate traceability architectures against real supply-chain behaviour.
