Industrial Heat Transition Pathways

Industrial heat is one of the more difficult parts of the energy transition because reliability, temperature requirements, capital cycles, and competitiveness constrain the pace of change.

Project premise

The project compares practical pathways for lowering emissions in heat-intensive manufacturing. It considers electrification, efficiency, alternative fuels, thermal storage, process redesign, and sequencing, with particular attention to the differences between industrial settings across Asia.

Eolais incubation role

Eolais combines technical evidence with commercial and strategic analysis to help organisations understand which transition choices are realistic, when they become attractive, and what enabling conditions are required. The incubated output is a comparative pathway model rather than advocacy for a single technology.
